The client wanted to improve the circulation to the rear and create a better casual living room and new kitchen opening up to the rear garden. The scope of works included a new bathroom to the upper level and re working the rear bedroom to include an ensuite. An interesting component to this design was making the under stair bathroom feel more generous. This was achieved by creating a ‘window’ to the joinery at the family room with a section that housed a sculpture giving the illusion of looking through a window from the guest WC.
